What's New

... as of 30 November 1997

To keep this short and simple, we have added something we've wanted from the very beginning -- our own post office. Now, just like in "real-life", you can visit a web travel destination, namely the Tower of London, and then send postcards to friends and relatives that you were (virtually) here! Besides eight specially-made postcards just for here, there and hundreds of other postcards, including ones for holidays, you can send. So please, besides letting everyone know you visited the Tower of London Virtual Tour, come by any time to send a special e-postcard to friends, during the holidays and just anytime. Enjoy!

We have changed location. Please update your links, bookmarks and articles!

Tower of London Virtual Tour:  http://www.toweroflondontour.com/
Tower of London Kid's Tour:  http://www.toweroflondontour.com/kids/

Because of the URL change, the previous-used NetMinder service no longer is valid. (That's just how it works.) So anyone that signed up to be notified of changes to the Tower of London Virtual Tour site previously (nearly 2,000 of you!) need to sign up again here below to be notified of future site changes.

But because NetMinder has gone downhill we didn't want to sign up again with them. Fortunately we found a new and better service at GetReminded. Whereas, NetMinder only sent you email saying "something" had changed, go to the site and see; with this new service you can email saying exactly what has changed! In fact the call it a "newsletter/reminder" not just a reminder.

Please join our brand new Newsletter and keep informed of all future additions and changes both to the Tower of London Virtual Tour and to our Kids Tour. Thank you again for your long-time and continued support of our endeavors!

ave a pintMessage Board Added

Stop by the Tower Hill Tavern, our new posting board.
Of course feel free to talk about things related to the Tower of London and this Tour, but do not stop there.

Topics are for anything British, so Brits, ex-Paits, Anglophiles, travellers and just plain whomever is most welcome to drop on in, have a rousing chat and lift a pint or two! Enjoy!

Yes, hopefully later this month, or mayhaps not until some time in August, we do hope to have a rather large update with many photographs added and who-knows what else!

Also added modern-day London street map of the Tower of London area (a link to Mapquest) on the Map and Search page.
