The Beefeaters: Tower of London's
Guardians
The Yeoman Warders who are also known as Beefeaters, are
guards and guardians of Her Majesty's Tower of London. The Beefeaters give
daily tours of most popular tourist attraction in England. It is also one
of the most historical buildings in Britain, comprising many styles of
architecture. The origin of the word Beefeater is unknown. One theory is
that the Yeoman Warders were fond of beef.
