Traditional British Pub Style Pickled Onions

1 Large Jar Pickled Onions 45 days 15 min prep
2 lbs pickling onions, peeled
1 1/2 pints malt vinegar or pickling vinegar
2 tablespoons ready-mixed pickling spices (OR 2 tablespoons of your your own mix using — green, white and black peppercorns, coriander seeds,)

Treacle Toffee

1 pound sugar
condensed milk
2 tablespoons black treacle
2 ounces butter

Worcestershire Sauce Recipe

1 onion , chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/4 -inch-thick slice of ginger
3 Tbls. yellow mustard seeds
1 tsp. peppercorns
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 1-inch long cinnamon stick
1 tsp. whole cloves
1/2 tsp. cardamon pods
2 cups malt vinegar
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup dark soy sauce
1/4 cup tamarind pulp
3 Tbls. salt
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 anchovy, crushed
1/2 cup water

Whiskey Sauce

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
4-5 tablespoons bourbon
Combine ingredients. Heat in saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat just before boiling.

Shandy

1/2 cups seltzer
1 beer
2 tablespoons frozen limeade
2 lemon wedges
Combine seltzer, beer and limeade. Pour into glasses and garnish with lemon wedges.
