4 oz Shredded suet
8 oz Currants or Raisins
150 ml Cold Water
1 oz Sugar
1 pinch salt

8-10 ozs butter (nothing else will do)

yeast 1 1/2 oz
water -approx- 1 lb 1 oz
1 pound All-purpose or bread flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 tablespoons Dry yeast
1 teaspoon Sugar
8 fluid ounces Warm milk and water
2 ounces Butter, melted
