1 6 1/4-pound leg of lamb, boned, butterflied, trimmed of excess fat and sinew (reserve bone and trimmings for sauce)*

Stilton Cheese Puffs

1/2 cup ale such as Bass (pour beer slowly into measuring cup; do not measure foam)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
Rounded 1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1/2 cup crumbled Stilton cheese (from a 4-oz piece; rind discarded)
Special equipment: a pastry bag fitted with a plain 1/2-inch tip; parchment paper

Griddle Cakes With Marmalade And Clotted Cream

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup well-shaken buttermilk
1 large egg, lightly beaten
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly

Pease Pudding

1 Pack of bacon
Salt Pepper
a one pound pack Split Peas

Place Split Peas in large ovenproof dish. Cover with Water. Add salt and pepper to season. Allow to stand over night. Add small pieces of chopped bacon (not the fat or rind) into mixture. As to your own requirement, remembering this is a split pea rather than a meat recipe.

Taking the sophistication out of it, decanting literally means pouring the wine from the bottle to a special glass container. This is done in order to expose the wine to oxygen and enrich it. 4 large eggs
1/2 cup sugar

1 tablespoon whole milk or half-and-half

Growing Your Own Herbs

The first thing you need to do when deciding to create your own Herb Garden is to decide on the size of the plot of land you want to use. This will depend on what herbs and how much you want to grow. Unless you are an experienced gardener or a herb fanatic don’t make your plot too big at first. Remember, you can always add to it later. You can create a raised bed to grow your herbs in and always add more when you decide you need to grow more. Remember to plan out your planting sequence and keep records of what is planted where as well as marking your planting with plastic nametags.
